A Lebanese Was Arrested For Kidnapping His Aunty To "Punish Her"

The Lagos state police have arrested a 23-year-old Lebanese man named Alhaji Mohammed Dannawi, for allegedly kidnapping his 61-year-old aunt, Essan Dannawi. He's presently being detained at the State Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) in Lagos.
The suspect alongside a former domestic staff of the victim, Obi Kwentua, were alleged to have abducted a 61-year-old woman from her residence at Ebutte Meta and kept her in their hideout in Oyingbo before she was released.

The suspect confessed to have duplicated the keys to the victim's room and handed it to one of the gang members, one Mr Obi Kwentua, who in turn hired 5 of his cohorts who got the job done. Their arrangement was for Mr Lebanese to evacuate the building before they storm so as to erase any form of suspicion. The kidnapping of his aunt was an act of personal vendetta, never intended for any ransom - He claimed.

Contrary to his testaments, they demanded N100 million ransom (EST $635,000), but later deflate and settled for N4 million. Unfortunately, luck ran out on them when they went to collect the ransom at the drop point at Rita Lori Hotel in Surulere.
