Buddhist Monk Sets Himself On Fire To Protest Against The Slaughter Of Cattle In Sri Lanka


Horrific: A Sri Lankan Buddhist monk set fire to himself outside the sacred Temple of the Tooth in Kandy, Sri Lanka today


A Bhuddist monk sets himself ablaze to protest against the killing of cattles for they are considered sacred. The weird incident took place near the famed Temple of Buddha's Tooth Relic in the central town of Kandy, Sri Lanka. 

He suffered terrible injuries after he went up in flame. He is currently being hospitalized at the Colombo National Hospital undergoing medical attention.
