Nigerian 6th Year Medical Student Studying In Ukraine Meet His Maker - Liver Cancer

Call him a mentor, a teacher, a spiritual leader, an ex president or a friend. Words inadequate to quantify the positive impact he had on the lives of many and his quest to lead them closer to God. Ukraine is in no doubt sadden by the untimely departure of the then; prospective Dr Kingsley Nwabuisi (less than two months to graduation).

Dr Kingsley Nwabuisi is a final year medical student of the Luhansk State Medical University, Ukraine. He was diagnosed with cancer of the liver and with aid from good and charity-minded individuals, he was flown to India for operation.

Report from the Fund Rising Committee had it that his condition improved within the first 4 days after being administered a couple of supportive therapy.

When the result of the diagnostic test was out, it was discovered that his hematologic and hemodynamic indices were grossly damaged. Therefore, a meeting with the Doctor last Thurday resulted in the suspension of all forms of therapy pending the arrest of the indices.

On Saturday, his condition degenerated. On Sunday he was transferred to the ICU of the hospital where efforts were made to control his vitals. Unfortunately, all efforts of the Doctors proved abortive.

It is therefore with a heavy heart that we announce to US ALL that Kinsgley Nwabuisi DIED in the afternoon, Sunday 5th May 2013.

We thank all those who contributed, either through prayers, cash or kind. We shall make an account of the funds collected so far and the excess fund will be sent to his family to help in the funeral rites

May the eternal light of God shine on him and may God grant his soul a peaceful rest in Heaven. Amen.
