History being made as the United State Of America has taken an exceptional and unprecedented measure to help arrest the incessant distortion of peace and security in Nigeria and other parts of West Africa, by placing an awesome reward of $23 million for any individual or group of individuals with some useful information leading to the Arrest/Death of the leaders of these terrorist groups.
The highest reward of up to $7 million is offered for the leader of Nigeria’s Boko Haram extremists, Abubakar Shekau, while $5 million each was posted for Al-Qaeda veteran Mokhtar Belmokhtar and Yahya Abou Al-Hammam, a top figure in Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, US officials said.
