Pastor Ministering SEXUAL HEALING On Married Women

The estranged wife of the said pastor; Mrs Rebecca Bamidele, disclosed this before the Ojo customary court, Lagos-Nigeria, of the sexual promiscuity of her husband, Pastor Israel Bamidele, with other members of the congregation, an act she alleged was the primary cause of the annulment of their 15-year old marriage. 

Providing her evidence in a divorce petition filed by her husband, a teacher and school proprietor ,against her in the court, Mrs Rebecca stated that, although she has been incessantly accused of infidelity,insubordination and nagging, but it was her husband, Mr Bamidele who brought a married member of the congregation (name withheld) to their matrimonial room for all night prayer and counseling behind closed doors. 

“I was bemused of the kind of special prayer my husband must be having with another man's wife behind close doors, and till dawn of the next day! That thoughtless action do not only lead to the end of my marriage with him, but to that of the mistress as well".

Pastor Bamidele, who filed the divorce petition against his wife on the premise of, constant confrontation from his wife, diminished affection, insubordination and ceaseless nagging. On that veil, he desire to divorce Rebecca who already bored him three children.

When asked the position of her husband’s family on the crisis surrounding their relationship, Rebecca said she confide in her mother-in-law but the old woman said its okay with them should her son decide to marry another wife because her father-in-law who was once a prophet did married three wives.

Mrs Rebecca further alleged that she did caught here husband "going in" with his school secretary for over a week, but she couldn't say anything because of fear of being smacked by her husband. 

She said, “anytime I complain, my husband will say I was becoming too stubborn for him. He would say in Yoruba, ‘ila ti n ga ju onire lo’, meaning, the okro plant was becoming taller than the farmer.”

When the court later inquired of the roles of the pastors and elders of the church in their crisis, Rebecca said Pastor Bamidele is the founder and general overseer of his church and the other leaders were subordinated to him because he appointed them.

The court president, Prince Hakeem Tunde Oyekan, adjourned the matter till 27 August, 2013 for judgeme
