The government issued a press statement about the film in which both actors star as journalist ordered by the CIA to assassinate the North Korean President Kim Jong-Un, saying the country considered the movie "an act of war" and "wanton act of terror".

According to KCNA news, the foreign ministry spokesperson claimed that " the act of making and screening such a movie connote a possible  premeditated attack on our top leaders.... is the most wanton act of terrorism and completely inexcusable."

"He also tagged Rogen a gangster film maker".

If the government of the USA do not freeze the release of the movie on 14 October, he said - will result in        " resolute and merciless response" from the country.

According to an unofficial North Korean spokesperson - the movie is a special irony that mirror what the US has done  in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Ukraine.

He said " And let us not forget who killed [President John F.] Kennedy – Americans. In fact, President [Barack] Obama should be careful in case the US military wants to kill him as well."
